What are cookies?
We don’t store personally identifiable information such as credit card details in cookies we create, but we do use encrypted information gathered from them to help improve your experience of the site.
Please note that cookies can’t harm your computer.
What cookies do you use?
This site uses Google Analytics which is one of the most widespread and trusted analytics solutions on the web. We use this to understand how you use our site and help find new ways that we can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit so we can continue to produce engaging content.
Google Analytics protects the confidentiality of Google Analytics data in several ways:
The Google Analytics terms of service, which all Google Analytics customers, including PPC Evolved, must adhere to. Google prohibits sending personally identifiable information (PII) to Google Analytics. PII includes any data that can be used by Google to reasonably identify an individual, including (but not limited to) names, email addresses, or billing information.
Google Analytics data may not and will not be shared without customer consent, except under certain limited circumstances, such as when required by law.
Security-dedicated engineering teams at Google also guard against external threats to data. Internal access to data (e.g., by employees) is regulated and subject to the Employee Access Controls and Procedures.
Google provides the following controls to website owners who have implemented Google Analytics to their site to provide more choice on how your data is collected by Google Analytics. This includes PPC Evolved.
- Ads Settings – Some sites using Google Analytics can be used to implement Remarketing campaigns, which makes use of the Google advertising cookies. This is something we at PPC Evolved use. Users can opt-out of this feature and manage their settings for this cookie using the Ads Settings.
This site uses Bing tracking to help us understand how you use the site and ways that we can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit so we can continue to produce engaging content.
Protecting consumers’ privacy and data is important to Bing Ads and PPC Evolved. The following policies highlighted by Bing in the following paragraphs are there as a guide for advertisers, such as PPC Evolved, to ensure that this protection is attained
Advertising is not allowed for websites whose main or sole purpose is the collection of personal data, intended as any information that can be used — either alone or in combination with others — to locate an individual, to be used for consumer or promotional marketing, or actions related to such purposes. This includes advertising for pages that link or redirect to such sites.
Sites may not collect personal information without the user’s consent.
Collection of sensitive information, such as financial, healthcare, government-issued IDs, etc., must be performed on a site hosted on a secure server, such as SSL (https) and only when strictly necessary.
As an advertiser, PPC Evolved will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to your collection and use of personal data.
Facebook Ads Pixel
Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that consists of a code that you can put on your website. This data allows you to retarget those users with Facebook ads in the future, as well as see what they’re doing on your site when they return.
While the cookies that Facebook use may change from time to time as they improve and update the Facebook Products, we use them for the following purposes:
- Cookies allow us to help deliver ads to people who have previously visited our site, who used our services and recommend products and services based on that activity.
- Cookies also allow us to limit the number of times that you see an ad, so you don’t see the same ad repeatedly.
- Cookies help us serve and measure ads across different browsers and devices used by the same person.
- Cookies also allow us to provide insights about the people who interact with the ads, websites and apps of our advertisers and the businesses that use the Facebook Products.
If you have a Facebook account:
You can use your ad preferences to learn why you’re seeing an ad and control how we use information that we collect to show you ads.
The Facebook Audience Network is a way for advertisers to show you ads in apps and websites off the Facebook Company Products. One of the ways Audience Network shows relevant ads is by using your ad preferences to determine which ads you may be interested in seeing. You can control this in your ad settings.
You can opt out of seeing online interest-based ads from Facebook and other participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance in the US, the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada in Canada or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance in Europe or through your mobile device settings.
Browser cookie controls:
In addition, your browser or device may offer settings that allow you to choose whether browser cookies are set and to delete them. For more information about these controls, visit your browser or device’s help material.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events (e.g. page views).
All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a user’s browser until a user deletes the cookie or the cookie expires (there’s a rolling six-month expiration from the last time the user’s browser loaded the Insight Tag). Users have full control to block or delete cookies
If you do not want to receive cookies, you can also change your browser settings on your computer or other devices you’re using to access our services. If you use LinkedIn without changing your browser settings, we’ll assume that you’re happy to receive all cookies on the LinkedIn website.
Most browsers also provide functionality that lets you review and erase cookies, including LinkedIn cookies. Please note that the LinkedIn site will not work properly without cookies.
